From Taoyuan International Airport to the venue

MRT:
Take the Taoyuan airport MRT at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. It takes around 35-50 minutes to the Taipei Main Station. Ticket costs about NT$ 160. Then take the Taipei MRT Red Line to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station, and transfer to the Green Line to Gongguan Station. Exit at No.3, and the main entrance of the NTU is 3 minutes away by foot. Ticket costs NT$ 20.

From Taipei Songshan Airport to the venue

MRT:
Take the MRT Brown Line to Nanjing Fuxing Station, and then transfer to the Green Line to Gongguan Station. Exit at No.3, and the main entrance of the NTU is 3 minutes away by foot. Ticket costs NT$ 20. Check the Taipei MRT website for further information.

From Taipei Main Station to the venue

Buses No. 208, 236, 251, 644, 648, 660, 671 and Roosevelt Rd. Metro Bus are recommended. Check the Taipei eBus website for further information. You may find the bus schedules, routes, and the current location of a particular bus. Ticket costs NT$ 15.

From NTU to the banquet (Grand Hotel, 12F)

MRT:

Option 1: From NTU, take the Green Line at Gongguan station, and transfer to the Red Line at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall station to Yuanshan Station. A free shuttle bus to the Grand Hotel is available close to Exit No.1 in the middle of Yumen St. (same location as other public bus stops) every 20 minutes (5:50, 6:10, 6:30 pm).

Option 2: From NTU, take the Green Line at Gongguan station, and transfer to the Red Line at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall station to Jiantan Station. A free shuttle bus to the Grand Hotel is available close to Exit No.1 at the Direction of Zhongshan Rd. (same location as other public bus stops) every 40 minutes (5:25, 6:05, 6:45 pm).

BUS:
A free shuttle bus to The Grand Hotel will be available at the main gate of NTU between 5:30 to 5:40 pm. After the banquet, the shuttle bus will be available at 9:00 pm in front of the Grand Hotel. It will drive back to the main gate of NTU, stopping by MRT Jiantan Station (Shilin Night Market), Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall station, and Guting station (Shida Night Market).

Currency

The unit of currency is New Taiwan Dollar (NT$). The current exchange rate is about NT$ 35 to € 1. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the Taoyuan International Airport upon arrival or at designated banks and hotels.
Electricity & water

Electricity current in Taiwan is 110V AC, 60 Hz. Water served for guests at hotels and restaurants is either distilled or boiled. Due to the subtropical and tropical climate, it is advised not to drink ordinary tap water.
